Training that fits
your team.
From foundational awareness for frontline staff to certified leadership training. Every role in your venue plays a part, and we've built a pathway for all of them.
The Safe Spaces pathway
A structured progression designed so every team member, from casual bar staff to venue manager, knows exactly where they fit.
Every program, in detail
Each offering is designed with a specific audience in mind. Here's what's included and who it's built for.
Introductory Modules
The starting point for every Safe Spaces venue. Designed for frontline staff who may encounter someone in a difficult situation, and need the confidence to respond.
- Build confidence to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence in a venue context
- Establish a shared language across your whole team, so everyone responds consistently
- ASQA-aligned competency certificate for every staff member who completes the program
Online self-paced · 2–3 hours · Available any time
Advanced Modules
For the people who set the tone. Advanced modules give managers and supervisors the frameworks, language, and confidence to lead venue-level change.
- Develop a documented response protocol your team can actually use in the moment
- Embed Safe Spaces policy into everyday venue practice, not just an induction box-tick
- Lead with clarity when it matters, and model the culture you want your team to reflect
Online self-paced + facilitated elements · 4–5 hours
Virtual Classroom
The formal certification pathway. Small-group live sessions with a skilled facilitator, combining real-world practice with nationally recognised assessment.
- ASQA-aligned certification with nationally recognised outcomes under the CHCDFV001 unit
- Live facilitator practice scenarios: not just theory, but how to respond under pressure
- Verified competency assessment that stands up to workplace and regulatory scrutiny
Live Zoom cohort · 3-hour session · Small groups
HR Policy Resources
Training without policy is just training. Our HR resources give compliance leads the tools to embed Safe Spaces principles into the fabric of how your venue operates.
- Compliance-ready policy stack: templates reviewed against relevant Australian standards
- Clear escalation frameworks so every staff member knows what happens next
- Reduced liability exposure: documented evidence that your venue takes safety seriously
